Affiliate Program       SEOS_AFF

It is important to study the affiliate program if you are serious about becoming involved in our training programs. You may also want to explore the other courses in this group to learn more about the work involved in becoming an affiliate – it can be a low-key affair or you can try to get many people registered if you have the time and inclination to do so. The affiliate will operate an independent franchise with respect to training services, and possibly a separate company that provides other sources of income. The affiliation contract will spell out the arrangements, which are fairly flexible because the opportunities are different in each geographic area.

Unlike most career colleges, our approach is to not get people to pay up front, from savings or (worse) by going into debt with government loan programs. Our strategy is low-cost training on a “pay-as-you-play” basis: that allows students freedom to “learn-as-they-earn” and to blend their studies around their working hours to minimize conflict. There is no preset time limit, nor a penalty for taking time off, so students can progress at their own rate of speed as they are able to afford it. They can study what they want, and when they want, depending on when courses are available (unless they use the self-study method). Nobody is locked into an “all-or-nothing” contract that is often unfair to the students involved, especially those with responsibility to look after small children (young mothers that violate the minimum attendance standards by staying home to look after babies).

We offer different training delivery options. Once people are registered they can switch to some other option if that works out better for them. Most people will prefer to attend classes, but if for some reason they cannot make it, and complete the work as independent studies, they can get full credit for completing the training even if they don’t make the last day of class but take the exam at a later date. If financial pressures mean taking a break from additional courses then the only casualty is completing that training at a later date – it does not mean dropping out. Our focus is on helping people to gain the skills they need in the workplace, not a framed diploma.

If you work with people, especially young people, you need to obtain the appropriate clearance to demonstrate due diligence. This is not only when you actually teach individuals – this is also recommended if you just talk to people to provide information and to encourage them to sign up. Times have changed, and we need to take that into account. You can determine your level of involvement in training based on your education and business knowledge – at a minimum you can become a representative, but you can develop your skills as a trainer and expand your involvement to perhaps offer programs in your regional area.

For us, receiving this information to put on file is simply due diligence on our part. You need to be able to put a proposal together for how you expect to run your affiliated business, and a marketing plan and business plan that shows you can viably operate that business in your planned area of operation. All instructors/coaches must have at least completed the courses they want to teach, or demonstrate a prior college/university education in those subjects (or the equivalent level of experience through employment in a relevant capacity).

In order to provide an on-line business front you must develop a basic website with a link page to get them to “excelinprojectmanagement.com” and to provide an enquiry/registration form to get involved. The catalog site does not collect any visitor information – when they link to the catalog the path they use is controlled by your website, and you control where the enquiry/registration process takes place. In this session we review how to create a link page (using a template we already created) that you place on your hosting server (or, if necessary, we can host it for you).

As illustrated on this website, we have the design and structure for a landing page that doubles as a registration form (as you have seen when you reached our catalog website) that you adapt to help you manage your own enquiries/registrations. Your personal site is yours to develop, and you can incorporate other services you provide too, so you can make it work for you. Decide in advance how you will operate, and what services you want to focus on, and create a simple layout that is easy to navigate so people can explore your website to get the information they are after.

  • If necessary, we can help you with a small website and/or a custom landing page that enables you to bridge between your personal business website and this training catalog website.

We have a number of basic seminars (discussed in this site) that you could use as marketing tools to encourage people to consider education in order to further themselves in their career. Most opportunities for such seminar presentations range from 30 minutes to an hour. The simple truth is that a website of itself does not attract prospects – you need to find ways to get people’s attention to direct them to where you provide more information than you can pack in a short presentation or networking get-together. Add a link to every contribution you make and on anything you publish, so that people can easily locate your website.

Free advertising seminars might be useful for libraries, community centers, and other venues where people go to get information. You may even find that such venues can offer useful meeting facilities to deliver training, especially if the subjects are at least in part consistent with their mission (policies vary, so you need to find out if there are options to rent facilities in those venues). Marketing seminars can be adapted to meet your local needs, and printed materials are meant to be customized with your contact information.

For people that have signed-up and are actively studying you can provide a low-key coaching support to make sure they do well and continue to strive for improvement. We have a separate program for coaching services in this section – the opportunities are less involved and there is no up-front commitment, but coaches cannot independently deliver services: they are bound to use either our registration page or that of a local affiliate.

There is an opportunity for a working relationship to get coaches working for the affiliate on a contract (self-employed) basis. We will explain that in detail in the affiliate documentation. Coaches enable you to leverage yourself, and to increase the number of courses you can schedule and you can pay coaches a fixed fee or a percentage of the net registration fees from the students, depending on the arrangements you make in your contract.

When students register, the revenue you receive depends on the level of involvement you have with the actual training. At the low end, where you simply hand off the student to another trainer, you may receive 10% of the fees paid by the student for every course they register for by going through your website. At the high end, where you personally deliver the training, you may pocket as much as 95% of the fees, depending on whether your student is someone you signed up or someone sent to you through one of your affiliates (or one of our other affiliates).

Administratively the process is not complex, but the details will be revealed to you for due diligence after you have signed a non-disclosure agreement regarding our process.

You can contact us at “Frits@pm4hire.com” for more information about this opportunity, because each situation is unique. We do not want too many affiliates in the same geographic area to cause a problem with students, as the alternative is simply for people to work as a coach for an affiliate in the area where they want to teach. However, you may also have a specialized background and create a unique business opportunity using our model as per the websites you are looking at.

For example, if you are an expert in medical office and you want to create similar, flexible training for prospective students, we can show you how to approach the challenges of creating course content that is consistent with the format of this website. You can create a landing page for your medical courses catalog and a separate landing page for our business courses catalog (if you even want to go there). We do not detail this option (it is not relevant to our catalog) but if you want to explore the option to create a similar program in your area of expertise we can certainly help you to explore this further.
